Nano Spider Wood

Nano Spider Wood is a small-format selection of azalea root wood pieces sized specifically for nano and micro aquariums ranging from 5 to 30 litres. Each piece retains the characteristic multi-branching, spider-leg form of full-size spider wood but at a scale that works proportionally within small tank dimensions without overwhelming the composition.

For nano aquascapes and shrimp tanks, Nano Spider Wood provides the same structural and aesthetic benefits as larger pieces — organic branching lines, natural biofilm surfaces for grazing, and an excellent base for moss and Anubias nana attachment — but in a compact footprint that suits 20 cm cube tanks and similar small formats.

The low tannin release and light colouration of azalea root wood ensures it will not heavily discolour the water in small tank volumes where even modest tannin release can significantly amber the water.
