Natural beige fine sand is sourced from freshwater riverbeds and processed to remove impurities before packaging for aquarium use. Its warm, neutral tone closely replicates the sandy shallows of tropical rivers across South America, Southeast Asia, and West Africa, making it a highly authentic choice for biotope-inspired aquariums.

The smooth, round grain surface is completely safe for species that naturally sift sand through their gills when foraging, including corydoras, kuhli loaches, sand-sifting cichlids, and gobies. Chemically inert, it will not affect pH or hardness, maintaining stable water parameters in any freshwater setup.
