Natural Quartz Sand (5kg)

Natural quartz sand is one of the most widely used aquarium substrates, prized for its chemical inertness, consistent fine grain, and neutral pale cream colouration that suits a broad range of aquascape styles. Quartz is essentially silicon dioxide in its pure form, meaning it will not influence pH, hardness, or any other water parameter regardless of how long it remains submerged.

The smooth, rounded grains are completely safe for barbel-bearing bottom-dwellers and make an excellent planting medium when supplemented with root tabs. The natural cream tone complements both bright coloured fish and lush green planted tanks without dominating the visual composition. A 5-kilogram bag provides 40 × 30 cm coverage at 3 cm depth.
