Neoregelia 'Tiger Cub'

Neoregelia 'Tiger Cub' is a miniature cultivar celebrated for its sharp transverse banding of cream, white, and green across stiff, slightly serrated leaves. Despite its small footprint — typically under 15 cm across — it carries the same structural presence as larger bromeliad species and pairs especially well with mosses and ferns on the land section of a paludarium. The compact rosette makes it suitable for smaller vivarium builds where space on ledges and hardscape is at a premium.

Its central cup retains water reliably, creating a useful micro-pond for amphibians and small invertebrates. Tiger Cub is notably tolerant of lower humidity than some neoregelias, which gives it flexibility in builds where humidity fluctuates. It offsets reliably, allowing hobbyists to maintain a growing colony over successive generations.
