NPK Root Caps 10-Pack

NPK root caps deliver a concentrated balanced dose of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium directly to the substrate where rooted plants can access them through their roots. Unlike clay-based tabs that release slowly over months, these compressed caps provide a more immediate nutrient boost that is released progressively over two to three months.

Each cap is pushed firmly into the substrate immediately adjacent to the root ball, maximising uptake efficiency and minimising any leaching into the water column. They are particularly effective for newly planted specimens that need a nutrient head start while their root systems establish.

The compact size makes them easy to insert with a finger or planting tweezers without disturbing surrounding planting. A 10-pack typically covers the key root-feeding plants in a 60–90cm aquarium for one full replenishment cycle.
