Orange Pumpkin Shrimp

The Orange Pumpkin Shrimp is a selectively bred Neocaridina davidi morph known for its bold, uniform tangerine-to-deep-orange colouration. High-quality specimens display intense, opaque colour throughout the body including legs and swimmerets, creating a stunning visual impact in planted nano tanks.

This morph is one of the most popular orange Neocaridina varieties due to its colour consistency and the ease with which it can be kept. It thrives in the same moderately hard, neutral water preferred by Cherry and Blue Velvet Shrimp, making it an easy addition to any established Neocaridina colony tank.

Males are slimmer and less intensely coloured; females develop saddle markings and swell visibly when berried. Colonies grow rapidly and the shrimp are active throughout the day.
