Organic Root Substrate (5L)

Organic root substrate combines composted humus, volcanic zeolite, and trace mineral granules into a medium that closely mimics the fertile riverbank soils of tropical plant habitats. The organic component supplies nitrogen and phosphorus in slow-release forms, while volcanic minerals contribute silica, potassium, and iron over an extended period.

The 5-litre volume is sufficient for a standard 80-litre aquarium at the recommended 5 cm depth, and its nutrient density makes it particularly cost-effective for larger planted tanks. The substrate is processed and sterilised for aquarium use, eliminating pathogens while preserving beneficial mineral structures. It suits low-tech and high-tech setups equally well, pairing cleanly with liquid fertiliser dosing protocols.
