Seachem Discus Buffer is formulated to replicate the soft, acidic water conditions of the Amazon River basin, where discus, altum angelfish, and many tetras originate. It lowers and buffers pH within the range of 5.8 to 7.2, depending on the dose used, while reducing KH to create naturally soft water. The product also detoxifies heavy metals commonly found in tap water. Dissolve in fresh water before adding to the aquarium during water changes for best results.
