Spawning Mop Java Moss Style

This spawning mop uses dark-coloured synthetic fibres arranged to closely replicate the bushy density of java moss, a popular spawning substrate for many egg-scattering and egg-depositing species including certain danios, corydoras, and small tetras. The fine fibre tips provide ample surface area for egg adhesion while the dense interior conceals eggs from opportunistic adults in a community setting. Unlike live moss, this mop does not require light or CO2, and will not introduce pests or disease. It can be removed from the tank and examined or transferred to a hatching container with minimal disruption. Rinse in dechlorinated water between uses.
