Its lightweight nature means it often requires weighting or anchoring initially. Spider Wood creates a dramatic naturalistic appearance that is especially popular in aquascape photography and competition tanks. It releases minimal tannins compared to denser woods and complements both lush plant aquascapes and minimalist designs.
