Walter Worm Culture Kit

Walter worms (Panagrellus nepenthicola) are a smaller relative of the common microworm, measuring approximately 0.5–1mm in length, making them a useful stepping-stone food between vinegar eels and standard microworms. Their smaller body size means they are suitable for fry at an earlier developmental stage than standard microworms.

This complete kit includes a culture container with drainage holes, a measured portion of pre-sterilised oatmeal substrate, and a live starter culture. Full instructions guide first-time live-food culturists through the setup and harvesting process. Walter worms have the same climbing behaviour as microworms, making harvesting clean and straightforward. The culture produces usable quantities within 3–5 days of setup and will continue producing for several weeks before needing renewal.
