Zebra Shrimp

The Zebra Shrimp is a Caridina cf. cantonensis morph displaying multiple fine, alternating black-and-white horizontal stripes running transversely across the body, creating a zebra-like banding pattern that is immediately distinctive among other bee shrimp variants. The stripes are typically finer and more numerous than those of Tiger Shrimp, covering the full body length.

As a Caridina species, the Zebra Shrimp demands the same soft, acidic, low-KH conditions as Crystal Red and Crystal Black Shrimp. Active buffering substrate, RO water, and meticulous parameter management are essential. This is a species for dedicated, experienced shrimp keepers only.

Zebra Shrimp are a relatively rare morph that commands significant collector interest. In optimal conditions they breed at a moderate rate, producing offspring with varying stripe intensity and definition.
