About
Amblyeleotris randalli (Randall's Prawn Goby) is a striking spotted goby that forms a fascinating mutual symbiosis with pistol shrimp. The shrimp digs and maintains a burrow while the goby stands guard. Spectacular yellow-orange colour.
Care Guide
pH 8.1–8.3, SG 1.025, temp 24–27°C. Deep sand bed (8cm+) required. Pair with Alpheus pistol shrimp for best behaviour. Feed Mysis, pellets.
