About
Amphilophus citrinellus, the Midas Cichlid, is a large, powerful Nicaraguan cichlid famed for its gold and orange colour morph. Males develop a prominent nuchal hump on the forehead. Bold, intelligent and long-lived. A classic in the large cichlid hobby.
