About
Aphyosemion australe 'Gold' is a captive-bred golden form of the Cape Lopez lyretail killifish. Males display magnificent lyre-shaped tail extensions in deep gold and red. Semi-annual species; longer-lived than true annuals. Excellent for small planted tanks.
Care Guide
Tank minimum 40 L, planted with floating cover. Feed Artemia, micro-worms, Daphnia. Temperature 20–24°C, pH 6.0–7.5. One male per tank unless large. Non-annual — lives 3+ years.
