About
Apistogramma borellii 'Blue' is one of the most accessible Apistogramma species, tolerating slightly cooler temperatures and less extreme water chemistry than many congeners. Males develop vivid blue-yellow colouration with contrasting dark markings. It is one of the more peaceful Apistogramma and can work in larger community planted tanks, though it still requires some shelter and territorial definition. An excellent first Apistogramma.
