Pomacea bridgesii
Origin: South America
Ivory Apple Snails (Pomacea bridgesii var.) have a clean, cream-white shell and pale ivory body that creates an elegant, pristine look in the aquarium. As hardy and plant-safe as other bridgesii colour morphs, they thrive in a wide range of community tank conditions. Their pale colouration makes them particularly photogenic against dark substrates.
Same care as other Pomacea bridgesii: pH 7.0–8.0, calcium-rich diet, secure lid, no copper. Their lighter shell may show etching more readily in soft acidic water — ensure adequate hardness. Breed readily in captivity; eggs are laid in clutches above the waterline and are easily removed if unwanted.
