Care Guide

Water: 26-30°C, pH 6.5-7.5, soft to moderately hard; pristine water quality essential. Tank: Minimum 600L, very long footprint, extremely heavy lid, minimal décor to reduce stress injury. Feeding: Carnivore; large insects, prawns, fish strips, quality arowana floating pellets. Behaviour: Aggressive surface predator; highly territorial with other arowana or similar top-level fish. Compatibility: Solitary or with large robust bottom-dwellers; never mix with other arowana.
