Assessor macneilli, the Blue Assessor Basslet, is a stunning deep-water basslet that famously swims upside-down on cave ceilings and overhangs. Brilliant sky-blue colouration throughout. Reef-safe and one of the most desirable rare marines.
Care Guide
Provide caves and overhangs. Does not tolerate aggression — keep with peaceful tank mates only. Temperature 22–26°C, SG 1.024–1.026. Feed Mysis, Artemia, small pellets. Harem of 1 male + 2–3 females works well.
