The Babaulti Green shrimp is an Indian Neocaridina species displaying gorgeous green colouration that blends beautifully into planted aquariums. Unlike most other Neocaridina they originate from India and prefer neutral to slightly alkaline water. Colour intensity varies based on mood, diet, and water conditions.
Care Guide
Keep in groups of 10+ in a well-planted tank. Neutral to slightly hard water (pH 7.0–8.0) preferred — slightly different from Cherry Shrimp parameters. Feed algae wafers, blanched vegetables, and shrimp-specific foods. Avoid copper-based medications. Breeding readily occurs in stable conditions. Excellent nano tank species.
