About

The Bartlett's Anthias is a stunning fish from the Central Pacific Ocean, with males displaying vibrant purple and yellow colouration. Like most anthias they are haremic and should be kept in groups. They require frequent small feedings of meaty foods such as mysis shrimp and enriched brine shrimp to stay healthy.

Care Guide

Keep one male with multiple females. Feed 3–5 times per day with small meaty foods — anthias burn energy rapidly. Provide open swimming space and strong flow. Acclimates well once settled. Sensitive to new tank stress; allow several weeks before expecting full colouration. Works well in reef tanks with other peaceful species.
