Cirrhilabrus bartlettorum
Origin: Marshall Islands, Micronesia
Bartlett's Fairy Wrasse displays a vivid gradient of pink to deep red on the body with a yellow caudal fin on males. From the Marshall Islands and Micronesia, it is one of the more frequently collected Central Pacific fairy wrasses though availability outside specialty vendors remains limited. A peaceful and active species that thrives in reef systems.
Provide a tight-fitting lid — fairy wrasses are notorious jumpers. Keep as a single male with females or one male per reef. Feed mysis, copepods, and marine flake 2–3 times daily. Peaceful toward corals and most invertebrates. Introduce before more aggressive species. Wrasses may bury themselves in sand to sleep — provide a sandy substrate.
