About
Betta imbellis, the Peaceful Betta or Crescent Betta, is a wild betta species significantly less aggressive than B. splendens. Males can sometimes be kept with females. More suitable for pairs or small communities than the common betta. Brilliant blue-green iridescent scales.

Pairs or male with multiple females in planted tank 40 L+. Temperature 23–28°C, pH 5.5–7.5. Soft, slightly acidic water. Feed Artemia, micro-worms, quality betta food. Floating plants for bubble nest.
