Betta splendens 'Yellow Blue Rim HM'

The Yellow Blue Rim Halfmoon Betta is a bicolor show form with a rich yellow body and fins edged in a contrasting electric-blue rim that sharply defines the perimeter of the halfmoon tail. This color combination is highly desirable on the international betta show circuit for its clean, graphic contrast. Careful breeding is required to maintain both the sharpness of color definition and the full halfmoon spread.

Keep singly in a 20L+ heated, filtered tank. Perform 30–50% weekly water changes. Feed varied high-quality foods including frozen bloodworms and betta-specific pellets. Avoid strong currents and fin-nipping tank mates. Stable temperature 24–28°C essential. One of the more demanding show betta forms to maintain in peak condition.
