Centropyge bicolor
Origin: Indo-Pacific
The Bicolor Angelfish is a striking species with a bold yellow front half and vivid blue rear half, making it one of the most visually distinctive dwarf angels. It requires an established aquarium with plenty of live rock for grazing and hiding. A varied diet including algae-based foods is essential for best coloration.
Provide abundant live rock for grazing and hiding. Feed varied diet: sponge-based marine angelfish formula, mysis, spirulina, nori. May nip at LPS corals and clam mantles — caution in reef systems. Semi-aggressive toward other dwarf angels; keep alone or as a mated pair. Needs at minimum 150 L to thrive.
