Also known as: Black-finned Pearlfish, Blackfin Pearlfish

Water: 15–22 °C, pH 6.0–7.5, soft to moderately hard; cool temperatures critical. Tank: 30 L cool species tank; peat substrate for spawning; tight lid. Feeding: Live and frozen Daphnia, Artemia, Cyclops; dried food occasionally. Behaviour: Males territorial; one male per tank with two females. Compatibility: Species tank only; cool temperature requirements limit options.
