About

The Blue Angelfish is closely related to the Queen Angelfish and can hybridise where ranges overlap. Adults display a greyish-blue body with yellow-edged scales and yellow tail and dorsal fin tips — a subtler but elegant appearance. A hardy large angel for experienced aquarists with spacious FOWLR setups.

Care Guide

Requires a minimum 550 L tank with abundant live rock for grazing. Feed sponge-based angelfish formula, mysis, nori, and spirulina. Not reef-safe — will graze on coral polyps and clam mantles. Keep as a single large angel per system. Long-lived — up to 20 years. QT thoroughly before adding to display.
