Blue Assessor

Assessor macneilli is a beautiful deep-blue basslet from the Great Barrier Reef that habitually swims upside-down beneath coral ledges and overhangs. Reef-safe and peaceful, it can be kept in groups in larger tanks. Quite hardy once acclimated and will eat a variety of frozen and prepared marine foods.

Provide shaded rock overhangs or caves where it can swim inverted. Feed mysis and small meaty marine foods twice daily. Peaceful; groups of 3+ can be kept in 200+ L tanks. Hardy and disease-resistant once settled. Appreciates lower-flow, dim areas of the tank matching its deep-reef habitat. Reef-safe with corals and invertebrates.
