The Blue Assessor is a captivating small fish that swims upside down under overhangs and inside caves, displaying its brilliant solid blue colouration. A peaceful and somewhat shy species that prefers heavily aquascaped tanks with plenty of caves and ledges. One of the few marine fish that truly inhabits the undersides of structures.

Create multiple overhanging rock structures for this species to inhabit. Feed mysis and small meaty foods twice daily near its cave. Peaceful; can be housed with most calm reef fish. Avoid aggressive tankmates that may prevent it from feeding. Secure lid recommended. Reef-safe; harmless to corals and invertebrates.
