Corydoras nattereri

Origin: South America (Brazil — southeastern coastal rivers)
Corydoras nattereri is endemic to coastal river drainages in southeastern Brazil and is one of the cooler-tolerant corydoras species, able to adapt to temperatures as low as 18°C. Its understated blue-silver colouration becomes more vivid under quality lighting. A peaceful, active schooler, it is well-suited to both community and species tanks.
Water: 20–25°C, pH 6.0–7.5, soft to moderately hard (GH 2–12). Tank: 60 L minimum; fine sand substrate; well-planted with open foraging areas. Feeding: Sinking pellets, wafers, frozen bloodworm, daphnia, and brine shrimp. Behaviour: Active schooler; keep 6+; compatible with most peaceful community fish. Compatibility: Suitable with cooler-water species such as white cloud minnows and small barbs.
