The Blue Orfe (medium) is a colour variant of the ide displaying a striking steel-blue and silver body that shimmers brilliantly in sunlight. Active schooling fish that swim near the water surface, eagerly accepting floating pond pellets. Highly visible from above and genuinely cold-hardy, this ornamental size provides a maturing show fish for established garden ponds.
Care Guide
Requires a pond of at least 2,000L with good oxygenation and surface movement. Keep in groups of 5+. Feed floating pond sticks or pellets. Very cold-hardy — no supplemental heating needed. Sensitive to poor water quality and low oxygen. Prone to jumping — provide adequate pond edges. Grows large over time.
