The Blue Shadow Panda Shrimp is a rare and highly sought-after Caridina cantonensis variant combining classic black and white panda patterning with a blue-tinted body translucency. Requires exacting soft acidic water in a mature heavily planted nano aquarium. A prized collector's specimen at the cutting edge of selective breeding.
Care Guide
RO/DI water remineralised with Caridina GH+ mineral only. pH 5.8–6.5, TDS 80–100 ppm, KH 0–1. Aqua soil substrate required to buffer pH down. Temperature 20–24 °C. Feed very sparingly with high-grade shrimp foods. Extremely sensitive to all contaminants — dedicated tank required. Species or Caridina-only setup.
