About

The Bluelined Rockskipper is a robust intertidal blenny with a brownish body decorated with vivid blue horizontal streaks on the head and anterior body. A strong swimmer capable of navigating turbulent water, it is a dedicated algae grazer and a practical, visually interesting addition to fish-only or FOWLR systems.

Care Guide

Provide ample live rock with algae coverage for natural grazing. Strong flow mimics its intertidal origin. Feed nori, spirulina, and algae sheets; supplement with mysis for protein. Keep one per tank — semi-aggressive toward conspecifics and similarly shaped blennies. Secure lid required. Hardy and adaptable.
