The Bubble Eye Goldfish is a unique fancy goldfish variety with large, fluid-filled sacs beneath each eye that wobble mesmerizingly as the fish swims. This orange variety has a clean, single-coloured body that highlights the remarkable eye pouches. Must be kept in a bare or soft-decor tank to prevent pouch damage, and should not be kept with more active goldfish varieties.
Care Guide
Keep in a bare-bottom or very soft-substrate tank free of sharp decorations — the fluid sacs rupture easily. Provide excellent filtration as fancy goldfish are heavy waste producers. House only with other slow fancy goldfish varieties. Feed sinking pellets or pre-soaked flake to reduce swim-bladder issues. Temperature 10–22°C.
