Caridina cantonensis 'Galaxy Fishbone'

The Galaxy Fishbone is a premium Caridina cantonensis morph displaying a bold fishbone-style white patterning over a deep black body, accented with scattered white dots resembling a star field. It is among the most sought-after and visually spectacular shrimp in the freshwater hobby. Strict soft, acidic water conditions and pristine water quality are essential for long-term health and breeding success.

Use a dedicated shrimp tank with RO water remineralised with a Caridina-specific mineral powder (TDS 80–120 ppm). Maintain a mature, stable aquarium with no ammonia or nitrite and minimal nitrate. Feed sparingly with high-quality shrimp foods and biofilm-promoting supplements. Avoid copper-based medications and most fish treatments.
