Caridina cf. babaulti
Origin: India
Caridina cf. babaulti 'Green' is an Indian dwarf shrimp displaying a variable green hue ranging from pale lime to deep forest green depending on diet and water conditions. It is a more adaptable species than many other Caridina, tolerating a wider range of water parameters. Its natural green camouflage blends beautifully into lush planted aquariums, making it both functional and ornamental.
Tolerates soft to moderately hard water: pH 6.5–7.5, temperature 22–28°C, GH 4–10, KH 1–4. Feed with a varied diet including spirulina-based foods, blanched vegetables, and quality shrimp pellets. Provide a planted aquarium with dense moss cover for grazing and hiding. Compatible with nano fish and other peaceful dwarf shrimp.
