Scriptaphyosemion cauveti
Also known as: Cauvet's Killifish, Cauveti Killifish
Origin: Guinea
Scriptaphyosemion cauveti is a non-annual killifish from the forest streams of Guinea in West Africa. Males display richly patterned blue bodies with red fin markings, and like other Scriptaphyosemion, it is shy and retiring in captivity. It requires very soft, acidic conditions and the absence of boisterous tankmates, making it exclusively a species tank fish for the experienced killifish keeper.

Feeding: Live micro-invertebrates; micro worms, Daphnia, Artemia nauplii. Behaviour: Very shy; males display but rarely harm each other; trio recommended. Compatibility: Species tank only.
