About

The Chagoi is a solid-coloured koi in warm brown, olive, or tea tones, universally regarded as the friendliest koi variety and the easiest to hand-tame. Introducing a Chagoi to a pond often encourages all other fish to become hand-fed as well — it leads by example. A highly recommended choice for Belgian and Dutch pond keepers seeking a sociable, fast-growing koi with a calm demeanour.

Care Guide

Requires a large, well-filtered pond (2,000L+). Chagoi grow fast and need space accordingly. Feed quality koi pellets; reduce below 10°C and stop below 6°C. The Chagoi's friendly nature makes it an excellent ambassador fish for encouraging pond fish taming. Provide minimum 1m depth for winter. Highly recommended for beginners.
