Cinetorhynchus sp.
Origin: Indo-Pacific
Cinetorhynchus species are colorful marine shrimp closely related to Rhynchocinetes, sharing a distinctive hinged rostrum but displaying more vivid orange and white patterning. They are active, social shrimp that emerge at night to scavenge across the reef. Like their close relatives, they may occasionally nip at soft corals and are best kept in fish-only or FOWLR systems rather than reef aquariums.
Best kept in FOWLR or fish-only systems to avoid coral nipping. Provide rockwork with crevices for daytime shelter. Feed with sinking meaty foods and scavenge-appropriate pellets. Keep in groups of 3 or more for social comfort. Avoid housing with large predatory fish that would prey on them.
