About
The Clown Loach is one of the most iconic aquarium fish, featuring a vivid orange body adorned with three bold black bands and bright red-orange fins. Juveniles at this size are highly active and entertaining bottom-dwellers, often resting together in groups. Slow growers that will eventually require a large aquarium — purchase with the adult size in mind.
Care Guide
Keep in groups of 5+. Provide caves, driftwood, and dim areas for shelter. Feed sinking pellets, frozen bloodworms, and earthworms. Will eliminate pest snails. Requires warm, clean water. Grows slowly to 30cm over many years — ensure long-term tank capacity. Very long-lived (20+ years) with proper care.
