About
The Comet is an American-developed goldfish variety with a slender body and an exceptionally long, deeply forked single tail fin. This red-and-white bicolor variety is one of the most graceful pond fish available, darting rapidly through open water. Very hardy and suitable for beginners in both aquariums and garden ponds.
Care Guide
Keep in large aquariums (200L+) or garden ponds. Very cold-hardy — tolerates temperatures from 4–24°C. Feed quality goldfish pellets and flake. Provide good filtration. Very active and fast-moving — do not house with slow fancy goldfish. Grows to 30cm — plan for adult size. Excellent for outdoor ponds in Belgium and the Netherlands.
