Centropyge bispinosa
Origin: Indo-Pacific
Centropyge bispinosa, the Coral Beauty Angelfish, is one of the most popular and accessible dwarf angelfish for reef tanks. Its vivid deep orange body with purple-to-blue scale margins creates a stunning colour contrast. Like all Centropyge angels it may occasionally sample LPS polyps or zoanthids, but this is relatively rare and manageable. A hardy, adaptable species that adjusts to a wide range of established reef tanks. An excellent choice for hobbyists transitioning from FOWLR to reef.
Established reef. May occasionally nip LPS and zoanthids — monitor closely. Feed quality marine flake, spirulina, frozen mysis, and frozen brine shrimp. Standard reef parameters. Provide ample rockwork for grazing. One Centropyge per tank unless very large reef.
