Centropyge bispinosa
Origin: Indo-Pacific
Centropyge bispinosa — the coral beauty angelfish — is one of the most widely kept and durable dwarf angelfish. Its deep blue to purple body with orange-red vertical bars and orange belly varies across its range, with Hawaiian specimens often the most brilliantly coloured. The coral beauty is one of the most forgiving Centropyge species and a good first marine angel for intermediate reefers. Like all Centropyge, it requires monitoring in reef tanks.
Tank: 150+ L. Feed: varied omnivore diet with spirulina and marine angel food. Reef-safe with monitoring. Hardy and adaptable for a dwarf angel.
