Ctenopoma acutirostre, the Leopard Bush Fish or Spotted Climbing Perch, is an African labyrinth fish with spectacular leopard-spotted camouflage. Lurks motionless among plants before striking prey. Can breathe air. Peaceful with fish too large to eat.
Planted tank 150 L+. Temperature 23–28°C, pH 6.0–7.5. Feed live and frozen foods. Eats fish smaller than itself — keep with large tank mates. Labyrinth fish — access to air surface needed.
