Chromis delta
Origin: Western Pacific, Japan to Great Barrier Reef
Chromis delta is a sleek and elegant chromis from the Western Pacific, identifiable by its deeply forked tail with elongated lobes and a uniform pale greyish-blue body. It is a mid-water schooling fish that moves in constant gentle motion, adding a dynamic, peaceful quality to reef aquarium displays. Its understated coloration contrasts beautifully with more colorful reef residents.
Keep in groups of 5 or more for natural schooling behavior and reduced individual stress. Provide open swimming space in a reef aquarium with moderate flow. Feed a varied omnivore diet of mysis, enriched brine shrimp, and quality pellets daily. Hardy and compatible with most peaceful reef inhabitants. A great schooling fish for intermediate-to-large reef setups.
