Fundulopanchax deltaensis

Fundulopanchax deltaensis is a rare and localised killifish endemic to the swampy forests of the Niger Delta. Males display striking blue and red spotted colouration on a green-yellow body, making them a prized find for specialist collectors. Its restricted range and habitat pressure make captive propagation by dedicated keepers particularly important.
Water: 22–26 °C, pH 6.0–7.5, soft and slightly acidic. Tank: 40 L species tank; dense planting; spawning mops; secure lid essential. Feeding: Live and frozen invertebrates; reluctant to accept dry foods. Behaviour: Males territorial; strictly one male per tank recommended. Compatibility: Species tank only.
