About
The delta tail offers a pleasing balance between the flowing length of a veil tail and the dramatic spread of a halfmoon. The caudal fin edges are straight and clean, giving the fish a neat, polished appearance. Delta tails are generally hardy and easy to care for, making them excellent for betta beginners.
Care Guide
Water: 26-30°C, pH 6.0-7.5, soft to medium hardness — avoid sudden parameter changes. Tank: minimum 20L with a heater, gentle filter, and lid to prevent jumping. Feeding: betta pellets, frozen bloodworm, brine shrimp — two feedings daily. Behaviour: males are territorial — one male per tank; active and curious swimmers. Compatibility: suitable with peaceful community fish; avoid nippy or boisterous species.
