Also known as: Devario sondhii, Sondhi's Devario
Origin: Southeast Asia (Myanmar)
Devario sondhii is a relatively infrequently kept devario species from river systems in Myanmar. Like other members of the genus it is a fast-moving, active schooler with vivid horizontal blue and gold striping. It is slightly less well-known than the Giant Danio but shares similar care requirements and makes an excellent companion species for active planted or biotope aquaria.

Feeding: Omnivore; flake, micro-pellets, frozen bloodworm and brine shrimp. Behaviour: Peaceful active schooler; keep in groups of 6+; fast and energetic. Compatibility: Ideal with other medium-sized peaceful cyprinids, tetras, and corydoras.
