Pseudochromis diadema
Origin: Philippines, Indonesia
Pseudochromis diadema is a striking two-toned dottyback with a vivid yellow anterior half and a rich magenta-purple posterior separated by a clean vertical boundary. Native to the Philippines and Indonesia, it has been successfully captive-bred and is moderately hardy. Despite its small size, it will aggressively defend its rocky territory from other dottybacks.
Provide ample rockwork with caves and crevices for territory establishment. Keep only one dottyback per tank unless the system is very large with multiple separate territories. Feed meaty foods including mysis, chopped seafood, and quality marine pellets daily. Compatible with most corals and larger, assertive tank mates.
