Dichotomyctere fluviatilis
Origin: South Asia
Dichotomyctere fluviatilis (formerly Tetraodon fluviatilis), the Amazon or Green Freshwater Puffer, has a striking green and black spotted pattern with a white belly. Fully freshwater. Slightly less aggressive than FW puffers — can be kept in groups with sufficient space.
Species tank 150 L+ for group. Temperature 24–28°C, pH 7.0–8.0. Feed snails, shrimp, cockle. Keep 3+ to distribute aggression. Provide thick vegetation and multiple caves.
